I'm a huge fan of Scooter, however, I think a few of their songs are atrociously bad.
Part of the problem is that Scooter vary their style quite alot, and if you don't particularly like the style that the song is set in, then you'll absolutely hate it.
No ", I cant tell the difference between this song and the last" when Scooter is concerned - wether that be a negative or positive thing.
For instance, their new CD is a gigantic pile of fetid king Kong , while the CD before that is the best music purchase I've ever made.
Since most people usually judge a group by a few songs, they sometimes get a whiff of Scooter garbage, which in turn then destroys their view of the group.
So they will miss out on beautiful songs like :
Scooter - In my Dream (Extended Remix) - Easily best "Techno" song ever made, Imo
Scooter - Devil Drums
Scooter - Rhapsody in E
(Just to name a few)
Instead, they get a "I'm Raving" straight in their face, followed by "Friends".
To sum it all up, unless you're a big fan of Scooter, You're going to be digging around in alot before you find something you like.
The songs I mentioned above however are beautiful, I recommend listening to them before just dismissing Scooter entirely as "Cambozola Triple Cream".
Either that or you can just jump on the "omg scooter sucks lololzo Tiesto 4 life" bandwagon. |

I'm sure that if everyone listened to every track Scooter ever produced (rip-off or not) they would all find atleast one they like :p
when 'Ratty - Sunrise (Here I Am)' was released, DJs played it and everyone loved it... but when ppl realized it was Scooter, the DJs threw away their vinyls and everyone suddenly disliked it... :D
same goes for "3AM - Nessaja" and "Guess Who? - Posse (I Need You On The Floor)"

I doubt that DJs liked Nessaja and Posse. Never heard a trance dj play it in their sets |

In My Dream is not made by Scooter. Wow, what a huge fan you are..
Anyway, I used to be a fan myself, bought all their albums and singles I could get, but I got tired of their rip-offs everytime they released something, so I stopped being a fan. I still like their music, but I haven't bought anything since The Night.
BTW, you know what's funny? The fact that most of the people who say Scooter suck ass and should die aso still know a huge ammount of their songs. It's like "Scooter is the most band ever I hope he dies and all his music suckxxks espescially How Much Is The Fish, Nessaja, Jigga Jigga, Weekend, The Night, Suavemente, No Fate, Endless Summer, Shake That and evertyhnig else he has done!"!""222!½§1111" :happy2: WTF, do these idiots have to listen to every song just to know how it is so they can post and bitch about it on the internet? |

Scooter should drop the "s" in the front and call themselves Cooter and start shouting things like "How much is this ass" and "Respekt to the man who s Lohan"...
but seriously.. i started off listening to scooter and their first 4-5 albums was the textbook and the doorway for me to edm scene. I guess they got artisticly lazy, commercial driven, etc but to me, personally, i always have respect for what they've done. |
