Listened to the mix. This mix was a little too melodic for my taste; however, I thought the mixing was clean and transitions were smooth. I really enjoyed the programming through 35 minutes. After that I was hoping for the mix to escalate in energy for another 2-3 tracks before dropping back into the melodic groove that was present for the beginning of the mix.

All in all I enjoyed the mix, good job!

thanks for your review. i appreciate you taking the time. glad you liked some of the tracks.

and just to let you know, i never program out sets.

some djs say thats dumb.

i dont really care.

i just play whatever track i want to play at that time, no key mixing etc.. just match it up and make it happpen...

not to mention as you saw the title of the set is turkey day sessions, well i recorded this quite tipsy on thanksgiving so I am pleased that the results were even this good. hahaha

turkey+champagne+trance records+ a good ing time!

Right on, It's good to hear that you don't program your sets. There is something definitely good to be said about spontaneity in a set. That also allows the dj to def get a feel for the crowd and what they are feelin @ the time. I personally have never programmed my sets unless its for a professional demo. I definitely get more enjoyement out of reading the crowd and seeing where I can take them rather than key mixing/knowing what goes together when and where, etc...

No sweat on the review, it was a good listen. Don't know that I could have recorded a turkey day mix since I normally pass out on Turkey day in a food coma. Good luck on your show this Friday.

I'm gonna d/l it right now too... not that I don't already know its gonna be some quality or I wouldn't even bother.
If you want a mix of some all new trance that I did around October just copy and paste my sig and d/l. I would think highly of it if you could give me a little review but you don't have to.
Trust me, I know you'll like it, give it a d/l.

Hey SkyHigh! :D

I noticed that you REALLY do like to play with music, I mean I heard you bringing in all sorts of effects and songs during each track, which is really nice if you ask me because not many people do that. Just heard it, you played great tracks, awesome effects.... awesome set! Thanks much for sharing
