Once again, Reflex Entertainment invades Blue Room's personal space and refuses to leave. Like your Uncle Jasper on Christmas, but with a little less hair.
We are proud to bring you Release, every Tuesday @ Blue Room. No cover, light on the dress code, and the Orlando favorite Solario and myself in the cockpit...heh, I said cockpit...at 10:00, bringing you ONLY the best in progressive house, trance and nu skool til 2:30.
Drink specials TBA, but since we're all drunks you know they gotta be good.
This is a 21+ venue.
Blue Room is 17 West Pine St, 407-423-2588
Orlando, FL

Anybody who would like a preview of what we do, here is a link to my Myspace page, which automatically loads our set from last week's show. We usually bump it up a bit more when we play live, but that's our general brand of prog. Support progressive house in Orlando! |

We're free, and right down the street from Zinc.
I figure people will wander between the two. |

The way I look at it, it's not competition. Most of the people I hit with promotions won't be going to his night normally, but they may wander down there from the Blue Room, and vice versa.
Also, don't forget that he's doing a lighter format to start the night and building up throughout. I went this past Tuesday and checked it out, and it wasn't too bad for a first night.
I think that any way you look at it, it's fine. There isn't a whole lot going on Tuesday nights, and I personally think that what you'll hear between the two places will be largely different breeds of prog. I'm looking forward to it. |

Yeah James, it's good to have something again. Even though it's Tuesday, I think we'll be alright. Let's face it, a larger venue on a weekend around here... top 40 or breaks... at least for now. I'm personally happy to be playing there. It's my favorite venue to play in Orlando.
I look forward to seeing you out there man! I'm hoping to have a few promos from friends to play that night, stuff that will be "premiered" at the conference in the days that follow. :) |

| Hopefully that mentality of DJs competing dies out soon cause its not a competition...Its going to be loads of fun and I second Legato's statement its my favorite place to play as well... I am glad to be back on the lineup...the sound system in there is hard to beat....Hope to see many of you there including you James...Lates |

hehe... well, Blue Room, for one. I know most of the other large venues are playing Top 40. I'm not exactly sure what Icon is doing anymore on Saturdays... probably hip hop. The point is that prog pretty much started in this town, and I'm glad to see it getting at least some attention again. I know... I'm a bit biased. ;)
I love Gerry's breaks night on Saturdays, but I would like to be able to go to a venue I really enjoy with a nice sound system to hear some prog on the weekends, when I can really go out and enjoy myself. Myles, I didn't mean to make such a blanket statement about breaks... it was mostly Top40 I was thinking about, but a lot of Top40 places are playing -breaks, as I like to call them, which is more of what I was referring to... not your meatier, dirty "uncheese" breaks. :) |
