| Ive seen him twice, so I feel ok when I say this. Bad Boy Bill is AN INSANE DJ...now while i do like his tracks, im not a HUGE fan of it..but still, that guy is GREAT. BTW I agree that the bangin the box series is well..umm..sub par to his live performance, until now. Bangin the box vol. 5 is great. AMAZING. Listen to tracks 3, 10, 14-27. If u dont lose your mind, then u cant appreciate the skills it takes to do what this man does. |

| the us list isnt a good one to go by, first off, most people in the usa havent seen a lot of those djs. i myself havent seen any of them, not to take away from their talent, but they are just voting based on the names and not if they even heard them live or what not |

Yeah........you americans just love Oakenfold.....
he doesn't deserve #1 for this year though...<---it's just my opinion
don't lash out at me...hehe
I wonder if these are actual votes or record sales
or even the fact the some people that are into this music don't even pay attention to DJ names and vote the most popular |

| no list is accurate and can never be accurate ....cuzif its a voters poll ten the only way it could be somewhat accurate is if everyone heard every one of the djs, liked the same style..then the poll would be more scientific ..but this is just a poll from voters ..so it means the most popular pretty much doesnt mean the best. |

I second this opinion. Remember, majority of American's don't even know what a DJ is (ok, exaggeration there), but hey, even a LOT of trance lovers in the USA don't get a chance to see the big DJ's... Unless you live in NYC, LA, DC, Miami, Chicago or Austin/Dallas area, you probably aren't going to see anything!
I can tell you this: I knew NOTHING of this poll, and if i would have, i would have voted! I can guarantee NO american TA's even heard about this poll - and the american TA's are the american's who KNOW about trance... (thanks TA!) So that gives you a good idea of the demographic of this poll: probably a select group of American clubgoers who only really see their local DJ every weekend, and have HEARD of a couple of big names - vote for whoever is local to their area.
I must say i am happy to see Edgar V. on that list - he kicks ass! Also glad to see DJ Caffeine up there - very little known DJ - busts out with some REALLY hard sets... i have several of his promo CD's... i think he's from Chicago... Also good to see Dieselboy and Acosta up there. Irene? Baby Anne? LoL.
Thanks for bringing the list to our attention, Dream Grl... i wouldn't have noticed it otherwise!

Ok, we know this isnt accurate, sorry but it is true, Dream Grl didnt hget the list just from anybody, she got the list from a big dj (mauro),and i sure if he had to give it to her, than he knows the .
now it is right that some americans dont really know the Djs that are out there, why do you think JOAHN GIELEN wasnt even mentioned? thats cause he never goes to america, and of course a poll is always on something that you know of or heard of.

yeah I don't think that list is accurate also, it has too wide of a variety and its not uniform. I also got the chance to see the #6 DJ on that list tonight, Bad Boy Bill I just got back from the club like 20 or so min ago
ABT: yes DJ Caffeine is from Chicago and so is DJ Irene. |
