Need some advice on what to do with this :p
So i thought id put it up for people to tell me where to go with it then i can improve it and repost :p :p
Dont forgot im still a total newb at production, so give me lots of advice and i hope you enjoy :stongue:

You did a really nice job, considering you're a complete newb. Although I have some suggestions:
1) When you kick in the synth, you have a "chopped up" effect. You maintain it for way too long. It sounds cool, but make the effect shorter.
2) When you finally drop the effect, it sounds really abrupt. Find a way to use this effect as a build up. That would rock! Maybe you can gradually add percs to make it sound better.
3) STRUCTURE. Your songs needs some structure. You need to work on what I wrote earlier to improve what you already have and then rearrange the pieces in such a way that they flow nicely together.
Keep up your good work, and be sure to let me know when you have your upgraded version posted cause I'll definitely want to give it a listen. ;) |
