not all cd players are able to play those kind of cds yet. give it another few years and it will be standard to burn music that way.

Ok I am a retard. I DLed musicutter, and I have absolutely no idea how to cut the set at a certain point. Could someone possibly tell me how I am suppose to get this to work?

1) Open MusicCutter.exe

2) In the top left pane, you'll see your current directory. Using the drop down list, select the drive and folder where your song is located. When you click on a folder, all the files in that folder appear in the upper right pane. Click on the song to highlight it blue.

3) In the bottom pane, under the column heading "Start", click on "00m 00s 00f" to make it white. Now change it to for example "70m" and hit enter.

You'll notice it created 2 rows of stuff.

In the first grey row, under the column filename, type the name of what you want the first chunk to be called. "TiestConcertPart1" for example.

4) The second row that was created now shows that it's start time is already selected and the "Length" as (eof) which stands for end of file which means, this second chunk will last till the end of the song. If you want to create and keep this second chunk, you must give it a filename. So look at the column "filename", and in the second row, name your second chunk. "tiestoConcertPart2" for example.

Quotes are not needed when you give it a name.

5) To finish, look for the "Cut Now!" button and click it. If all went well, you should see the 2 files created in the same directory where the source (Oringinal) mp3 was located.

If your liveset was in c:\music\trance\livesets directory, then the 2 files are created in the same directory.

Note: If you intend to burn the liveset.mp3 as an AUDIO CD, make sure to split every 70-75 minutes (which is the max length of mp3 stuff you can burn as an audio cd on a regular CD-R).

If you intend to burn a 700MB or bigger liveset.mp3 file as two separate mp3 files burnable on a CD-R, then you'll have to play around with the split times in order to create 2 chunks, each of which must be under 700MB.

I hope this makes sense. I'm used to "Mp3 Splitter & Joiner" from www.ezsoftmagic.com (shareware)
