Wisconsin in' SUCKS for pizza. growing up in NY spoiled me into only liking NY style pizza.
the best pizza place we have in Wisconsin is an hour away, in Madison. so i usually drive out there at least once a month to satisfy my craving. it's NY style pizza and i'm pretty sure the guy that runs the place is not from Wisconsin so that's probably why it's good.
usually though i'll just buy a frozen pizza (there's some really amazing ones out there nowadays - right now in my freezer i have a Greek pizza and a chicken caesar pizza - both thin crust, yum!) and cook it on the Pizza Pizzaz.
i'm not a big fan of pineapple but i love bacon on pizza. :p |

California Pizza Kitchen makes some really good pies - they even have a frozen pizza line so you can enjoy (somewhat) on-par pizzas cokked to your own perfection. Sans wood-oven. :(
I like pretty much everything on my pizza except pineapples and olives. Olives I don't mind that much, but pineapples are a horrible, fetid fruit to taint your pizza with. :eyespop:
Anyone ever tried fruit pizza? My grandmother makes it with loads of fresh fruit, and it's really good.  |
