If you don`t have a static IP adress you will need a programm like dns2go so that people can actually reach your ftp. ISPs give you a new IP adress every time you log on to the internet. So if I asked you what the adress of your ftp was you could look up your ip and tell me something like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx but the next time you dial into the internet the ip will change and I couldn`t reach your ftp anymore...So if you don`t have a static IP adress (some cable companies in the US provide some) you need something that redirects your ip to a certain adress every time you log onto the internet. With a tool like dns2go you can get a name and I could always reach your ftp say under: DJScreamer.dns2go.com Hope you get the picture, if you need any more advice just PM me;) CLICK TO RETURN TO TOP OF PAGE
