| This proves my theory that award shows in general mean dick in the actual genre/industry/catagory/etc. Half the people who vote on these things know nothing about it, so why not vote for whoever you've actually heard of is their reasoning. |

| these awards were a complete & utter mess. We were invited to host an award, we replied, then heard nothing, so i sent an email a bit later asking why & they claimed not to have had our email reply (which was bcc'd to me) so offered us an award still saying they really wanted us to help them, so we did all the promotion wor on the website, heard nothing, 2 nights before got offered tickets but by then any respect i had of trackitdown had totally gone & we just ignored them, a very poorly arranged publicity stunt imho |
