Cubase Question

Quick question for those who might be able to help...

Does anybody know if Cubase has a different level of sound when compared to others sequencers?

As an example, say you're using the same vst's / samples in both Fruity / Cubase... Should you be able to hear a difference when comparing the two? (sound).

Thanks guys.

I think 0db isn't actually 0db on the channels. I think it gives you a bit of headroom to the main mix bus to mix your loudest signals (ie bass drum) up to 0db.

fruity just automatically maxes out the sound to 0db. with cubase you've gotta sort it all out yourself, but give s u a lot more control
