bull. did you watch both movies?

i've seen million dollar baby, which was done in 37 days. great flick.

aviator i heard was a bore, but i'll watch it tomorrow.

In terms of direction, Aviator takes the cake. Million dollar deserved best pic, and best supporting actor, and best actress, but not best director....at all.

I watched ID4 instead.

best worst movie of all time

Caught the last hour of it,

from what I saw Jamie Foxx's speech was by far the best. Hilary Swank's was a tad too pretentious for my liking

All in all, a nice popularity contest with predictable wins.

Am I the only one who does NOT like Clint Eastwood??

I thought the stage set up was pretty amazing this time around

Did you just cut and paste this response to both Oscar threads?

Clint Eastwood is a good director...I think he's got style...Unforgiven and Mystic River were both very good films.

I think this is his official "you're one of the *really* big directors" year for him.

Nice to see Morgan win...he's been playing a lot of the same character in many films, but he's a great actor (eg. Shawshank Redemption).

Eternal Sunshine was a good movie...and it was good to see Charlie Kauffman finally win after writing other brilliant screenplays such as Being John Malkovitch and Adaptation.

Kind of a boring, non-glam show though...no Jack Nicholson, Meryl Streep, etc...where were the all big name "hollywood" people?

funny moment was after Antonio Banderas and Carlos Santana butchered the song that ended up winning an Oscar...for his acceptance speech, the ACTUAL singer (who they should have used in the first place), sung a few verses himself and then just said thank you...lol...as if to say "um, this is how it's SUPPOSED to sound" (I'm assuming it was the same song anyway).
