hello ya! well its my first time using acid. i made a 40 minute mix and was wondering if i can cut it into tracks.meaning when i render it to a cd or what not, when playing in a cd player can i make it so i have track selection.example if i was on track one can i skip to track 5? i also have soucd forge. are any of these programs capable of doing that? any help will be greatly apreciated!!

any audio editing suite will do the job; cool edit pro, soundforge etc.

I have found that the best program i find to get my mixes onto cd's is using Ahead Nero's audio editor once you have imported the whole wav file into the create audio cd wizard.

Right click on it and go into properties then you will be able to put tabs where you want to 'split' the tracks, and then just make sure before you burn it that you have removed the 2 second gap between each track.

Try Feurio(sp?). This program rules, i think it might be free too. I had the same problem earlier, but i downloaded this, and you can cut your tracks up, and it will stay continuous.

Definately check this one out, its great!

Normally I wouldnt, but I'm gonna take the time to officially flame you for making a mix with Acid :)

Just don't lie and say you did it on decks! :)
