OMG!!! very very impressed...i thought that ableton live would be a letdown, but it was very nice...he started off kinda slow for the first couple hours, but after 2 am...OMG!!!what a set! he blew the roof off the place in the last two hours, he played so hard twards the end-nasty,dirty,techy- reminded me of sasha 5 years ago playing peak hour sets, just wish it didn't take him two hours to get there......very very crowed but overall great night......place was still packed at 4 am.......

if you get a chance to see sasha and ableton live..do so right away!

i hate u guys
montie
my friends and i drove up from LA for sasha and deep dish.
what an amazaing weekend. people complain about the vibe and the people at ruby sky, but i had more fun there and enjoyed the people there much more tha henry fonda or avalon.
i'm so completly exhausted and fried though still.

I only went Friday night cause I was just tired/wasted to go Saturday night, but yeah, the crowd Friday night was greaattt...

How you know it's a great crowd at Ruby Skye is if the place stays full past 2:15am - 2:30am...then you know it's pulled in a crowd for the music/DJ and not the "just here to get drunk off my ass" crowd Ruby Skye is mainly known for. The stereotyped crowd at Ruby usually disperses soon after 2am when the alcohol starts wearing off.

One thing I will say and that most people will say is that over the past year, Ruby Skye's crowd has come A LONG way....but that's mainly because Release (aka Martel & Nabiel) and Spundae throw just about all of their events there now, so they are bringing in more and more people who used to go to Ten15.

And yeah, nothing is nearly as bad as the Avalon crowd. HFT crowd was never too bad except for the Ferry Corsten night there when I had all these sweaty ass people running of me ALL NIGHT and then saw this dude smoke crack right in front of me. Oi!

The next night Deep Dish went until 6am! Probably will be the best show of the year for SF. definitely the best clubbing weekend in a long time.

I doubt anything this year will touch the weekend in January at Ruby Skye

January 7: John Digweed
January 8: Danny Tenaglia w/ Behrouz

Danny played a 12 hour set...from 12am to 12pm. Ruby Skye was packed until about 9am then people started to trickle out until he stopped at noon. Danny had requested that things be setup to he wasn't disturbed by anyone else, and check out this crazy ass booth that was built just for him w/o him even knowing...

This thing was stocked with like fans, fridge, etc.

haha wow that is awesome. 12 hours. longest clubbing i ever did was around that long in Birmingham. it was day light savings so we got an extra hour . I dont know why/how any single DJ would want to go that long tho.
