[review] Nic Fanciulli at Spirit

I just want you all to know that you missed a great set by a great DJ. Nic is so funky and fresh! He played some funky house, tech house, electro and tracks that I can't even categorize but they were HOT! The basslines were incredible and his mixing was on point the whole night. The flow was a little inconsistent and not always danceable [kind of reminscent of some zabiela sets i've witnessed] but I was in awe the entire night and loved every minute.
This kid is in a league all his own. He is so unique and creative. His set was the most original I've heard in a long time. I can't wait to check him out in miami. For those of you who haven't heard him and will be heading to Sander @ Spin, you will see what I mean.

I was just about to post my video here when I saw it's already on hehe...danke Sunshine.
I have a couple more short clips from that event, I will post some links when I upload them.
Besides that, I really enjoyed the experience. I first heard Nic Fanciulli on the Essential Mix with Pete Tong at Club Class's birthday, and couldn't believe it when only a few days later I found out he would be coming to NYC. There's a great future in front of him. |

| the song in that video is AWESOME. Nice hard beats to dance too!! What kind of genre is that classified under? and what other DJs play that type of music? I think that's the best type of EDM to dance too. |

tech house?? electro? i am not sure myself. but it definitely rocked the house. i love it! so funky!
