Took in a relative's pure breed Himalayan who cost $500. Nice cat but a royal pain in the ass to maintain. He gets these terrible knots every day that you have to comb out. It’s painful for you and the cat (he bites you). If you don’t comb him out for a couple of weeks its just awful. Don't have the money to get him groomed, so I would dissuade anyone from getting a long haired cat.

I'm with TVD; adopt a cat. When I get outta school I'll pick up 2 or 3 of my own.

Anyway, purebred cats are sure to cost a lot because breeders put such care into them. So I'm betting it's well into the hundreds to get your cat, maybe even thousands.

i try to feed the orange one twice a day 1/4 of a cup. but he becomes a pain in the ass following me all over the house meowing repeatedly. and not just short meows. longgg and loud ones, over and over. so i give in and just pour some into his bowl. i dont even measure it anymore.

sleep with it next to you. that's what i did. every night, my cat sleeps right next to my head the entire night, until i wake up, or he wakes me up meowing in my face begging for food.

That's really sweet man :D
Do cats bite a lot? I think they do... else i would have gotten 1 too.
