I went to see dave clarke once and tbh I'd never rush back to see him again.
I found the techno he was playing bland. His mixing created little flow to the set and his over use of the effects was just annoying.
However the whole night was saved by matthew jonson playing live in the other room. the guys has got some serious talent in the studio.
btw Richie hawtin would own clarke.:D |

| Yeah, I prefer Richie. As for Sven... I don't know how much he does behind the decks, but I love his track selection. Freaky electro . |

I really love all dave clarke's production work. techno music that is really dance-able and not that 'oh that's interesting' boring techno.
Red series is amazing, by far my favorite of them all. |

IMO Richie Hawtin and Adam Beyer > Dave Clarke
I don't think Clarke could pull off anything like Decks, EFX & 909, despite being an amazing dj. Adam Beyer is the king of techno when it comes to using turntables only IMO. |

| he was AWESOME at global gathering. I've never seen anything like it words can not explain. by far and away the best set I saw last year and i walked into the tent going "i ing hate techno". He walked on put two records, fiddled about for about 3 seconds and then bam they were both playing. |

You're right, it's not, but tell me, what the hell is so admirable about the trance scene? Armin and thousands of American amateur DJs trying to sound like him? |
