| yes yes yes yes i know i know i read the sticky but as informative as it was it didnt answer the question i have....i want a program that i can jsut start out on that wont be that hard to use cause i know almost nothing about all this but im becomeing intrested n trying to learn so dont yell at me for not searching and reading the stickys cause i did that but it didnt answer my question n if i missed somthing in it im sorry |

Probably 3 most popular are Fl studio, Reason and Cubase, your best bet for starting out is probably Fl studio (just my opinion though)
I started out with FL Studio, pretty easy to learn. I'm slowly seeing myself moving towards using a different sequencer.
A word of advice, use 3rd party vst's and samples in Fl Studio.

I started using Cubase about 6 months ago and was exactly the same as you, starting from scratch and had to learn everything myself. Its a very long process but you find with Cubase that there are hundreds of tutorials and self help websites around, and also find TA a godsend, with the greatest people in these forums who are willing to help and pass on their knowledge. Although im FAR from being where I want to be, in just 6 months I have the ability to create a track from scratch - check out - Love Games Sample.mp3
- I dont think its bad, and if I can achieve that on my own in 6 months then anyone can!!
