I'm an asian in NYC and let me tell you what i think...
When those country side tourist from Ohio and Montana come into the city they have this tendency to STOP on a sidwalk and gaze off at a building...now I know your referring to asians in general who dont get out of your way, I'm referring to tourist (mainly non-asians) who are "mexican roadblocks" here in NYC. And I say mainly non-asians because all asian tourist are in Chinatown and not out and about in the city.

I hate all cultures for different reasons lol. I just wanted to point out what I see to be a kind of new age view of being self centered. People try to justify it with this Zen like peacefulness when what they are really saying is "*IM* not in a hurry so off"
Stupid people in general (also lazy throwin in there) dont get the idea of hopping off to the side. My friend and I always walk around and if someone does that say "Hey, hows the middle of the sidewalk treatin yah? Pretty good? Convenient for yah? Good good, glad to hear it. NEXT TIME ING MOVE"
