That's just Schumacher's dominance over F1 over the past 5 years, so wether the Australian GP was in Adelaide or Melbourne, he'd still be dominating F1. Up until 2001, no driver had won the Melb GP twice. |

GO SCHUI
Webber is getting hyped....he won't finish in top ten and most likely with all the pressure everyone has put him under to deliver a result, he may not even finish the race...I love supporting local talent but stand by Schumacher any day! |

| webber seemes very confident of finishing up there in some interviews i saw. F1 is to watch with one guy creaming the field all time.(but id love to see it live) The Moto GP is a little better to watch the races are tight. |

People that have paid to watch the F1 on the friday and saturday are going to be VERY dissapointed, there's nothing really to watch... thanks to the new rules, the drivers don't really want to use the practice sessions, and now the REAL qualifying is on the sunday too, so the sunday people are REALLY getting their moneys worth, where as the others arent
but it's stupid
and now in races, probably find where ferrari would win the race by a huge margin, they probably wont push it as much this year - atleast not for the first of the two races, as they need to conserve their engine for the next race
Will be interesting to see if the aerodynamic rules end up in more interesting racing, although really, they need to conserve tyres and engines, so it's CANCELLED out - they don't want to drive agressively
I hope the new tyre rule doesn't turn out as a disaster.
argh, doesn't look good for formula one at all :(
oh, and webber is OVER RATED... he's never raced with a decent team. Talk of him winning in Melbourne is beyond a dream, even the podium is REALLY stretching it, but it's possible, but if he finishes in the top 5, people should be VERY happy. Realistically, he'd want to be getting as many points as possible. But it really comes down to the competitiveness of Williams this season - Maybe podium finishes is what they'll be targetting, but with Renault and BAR shining last season, it won't be easy, and McLaren is always up there too. |

go montoya! i hated him when he was thrashing poor ol andretti in CART, but love him ever since he moved to F1.
and someone better have a nice big crash during one of the many boring points that F1 seems to have these days. |

Good points.. i agree, with the new engine rule the drivers won't be pushing it at all in the practice sessions so won't be much to watch till qualifying. Saturday should still be good tho as they take an aggregate of that and the sunday qualifying making both races equally important. another thing to consider is that the drivers will be conserving their engine in order to battle much high temperatures for the next meeting in Malaysia.
re. webber, i doubt he can win on sunday, but he should still come away from the race with some points |
