Too old for clubs? (pg. 3)

1978 was a good year to be born obviously! :)

I am 27 this year too, but who cares about younger kids at the clubs? Why is that any different to seeing people who are over 30 when you were in your teens... I never had a problem with it then, I don't have a problem with it now.

I think it is great to have a good mix of population in the clubs, and you would be surprised some of these younger 20's can party better than us later 20's.

Really I think if you are paying too much attention to the crowd being too young then maybe you are too old...

Your never to old.

Yeah, but unfortunately, that 64 year old is always the creepy, thin-haired guy who vists the same club every night, sometimes falls asleep in it, wears a hawaian shirt and sunglasses (inside of a dark club), and just when you think you're getting to know such a cool, old guy, he makes some claim like he invented the toothpick.

I think it's funny that a 27-year-old is worrying about being too old to go out. When I was 27 those were some of my best clubbing years! I think the age issue matters more in certain places than others. I've been going out for many years, mostly in Berlin, and I don't think that most people even notice that I'm not the youngest in the crowd. Even if they figure out that me and my crew are older, it really doesn't matter. The older you get, the less you care about what other people think. Many of the DJs/producers/artists that I enjoy listening to are well into their thirties, and showing no signs of stopping. (OK, it's slightly different if you're making your living from the club scene, but I hope you see my point). Very often, I find that it's the people who are 30 and older who really know how to party, since they're old pros at it! I've been to many club events where I've noticed the older clubbers really letting go, having fun, spending cash, and not being as self-conscious as the younger folks. Also, dance music is enjoyed most when it's heard in the environment that it was made for. If you don't go where that music is being played, then you're missing out on the whole experience!

Hey, I love trance and going to clubs. But im going to be 27 soon. I feel like I am getting too old for this . What do you guys think?

Dude you're in your peak age for clubing. You're over 21, you got more than enough experience, you're probably financially stable, this is the best time. After 32 call it quits.
