Anyone know of any good 19" LCD monitors for gaming that have good latency and refresh rates?

viewsonics are pretty kick ass

LCDs suck for gaming ... CRTs have way better color, refresh rate and clarity

Viewsonic is nice. NEC technology man...anything with that gives you 16ms refresh rate (CRT is 15) instead of the normal 30+ so no blur or anyting. Look for the nec!

Thanks. I'm a bit scared of Flat Screens, since I played CS competitively for about a year and was always told you can't hit anything on an LCD because of the refresh rates and latency.

if money is no object go with an Iiyama (http://www.iiyama.com/) the best you can buy ... unfortunately they only make biege boxes ... I have a viewsonic P95f+ ... I like it except there is some distortion on one side(only like a centimeter and hardly noticable unless you really look) ... but other than that it's great

Put your money in the video card and other motherboard power first. Monitor is secondary and pricey if you go the LCD route. Who cares if you can see poor video clearly?

Good point, I will be investing in an Asus 9800XT though.

Good selection. The video card, not the monitor drives the graphics you see...and particularly on top end systems like my kids run.
