Kimbo is a street fighter who made his rep by video taping prize fights. MMA fighter Sean Gannon saw the Kimbo fights and his argument was that against a well trained and condition fighter, Kimbo wouldnt stand a chance and decided to put his theory to the test and offered to fight Kimbo in a boxing only type match. |

Gannon first wanted a no rules match, but Kimbo didn't agree. What they did agree on was no kicks. Kicks being strikes with the shin or foot. So according to the rules Kimbo agreed to, knees were legal. |
