But my credit card just has the Space charge for those tickets, nothing else. (this time).

Well, if you hop into Clubplanet, theres bunch of clubbers that have reported similar cases of CC overcharges.. with the bartenders and as well losses.. so yeah, just gotta watch out, and make sure of the protection, in that case I love my Bank of America CC and Checking Card.. TOTAL PROTECTION heh.

THATS RIGHT,-------> S-P-A-C-E 34. so stfu, i dont know even know if this guy goes to the club on a regular basis (or has even BEEN before).. to have an opinion of the place other than " SPACE" ; with or without the "trance" talent the club brings, everything *else* associated with the club, vibe, atmosphere, the terrace, their djs, music, lighting, sound, crowd it brings etc... pisses on any other club in Miami or SE United States for that matter. Yes i agree the lack of security is definitely not cool, but to go on a rant about the club is lame! Sorry..;)

LOL. b4 u attempt to start ragging on someone first get the facts straight. ITS NOT ABOUT THE LACK OF SECURITY.

& BTW its since we're gonna get technical, Not Space 34 MISSY...

BUT..

since it doesn't work that way.. i have to bite my tongue & go with it.. i guess thats how much i enjoy TRANCE & thats why i have to make sacrafices & go to Space.
otherwise.
SPACE!!!

POSTED ON THIS BOARD BTW.

& i used to go to the old Space & have gone to the new one as well. i stopped going to Club Space on a REGULAR BASIS cuz of the way the staff treats its clubbers(FROM THE OLD SPACE TO THE NEW CLUB SPACE). the way they would look down on some & the way they enforce their ridiculous by-laws that they have. No cameras. No lights. No sneakers. No this. No that. its down right stupid. its a freakin nightclub, Not a yacht club.

SO.
b4 u start judging peoples opinions & comments make sure u do ur homework FIRST & make sure u have more than 2-3years of CLUB SPACE under your belt. i was going to Space while u were probably still in High school. So don't think because u've been to Club Space u know so much about it.

SO LET ME ASK U THIS RACHEL...

WOULD U PRAISE CLUB SPACE SO MUCH IF THEY DIDN'T HAVE ALL THE TRANCE OR HOUSE TALENT THEY BRING & WOULD JUST SETTLE FOR THE RESIDENTS WEEK AFTER WEEK AFTER WEEK??? would u be so loyal to CLUBSPACE??

FYI: i met u @ BLUE for grooveeric. I introduced myself to you. thats who i am. :eyes:

& taken @ Club Space when it was SPACE34.

& I WILL ONLY BE THERE FOR THE TRANCE DJ'S.....

Yeah the Space experience is ing SICK but why the can't they get their together and do things the RIGHT WAY!!! You feel me??? Just because the have the best tallent and one of the best venues doesn't give them the right to treat their customers like this along with the false advertisement and lack of security. I for one will be going to Space no questions asked but that doesn't mean im going to keep my mouth shut and not voice my opinion on how the place is ran. So yes let me clear with up a little bit..... SPACE MANAGEMENT!!!:toothless

at least someone understands what i'm referring to.

I called & wrote, nothing happened. Then in September I find out I'm the victim of identity theft using the very license (CA license) that I lost at Space.(opening up various credit cards in my name) My new license was a NY one.

Good chance the person responsible has some affiliation with space...

But can't be 100% certain.

Bro...that sucks!!! hope you are able to fix your situation...wicked!

Greg is right. Will call requires you to have the credit card used.

You don't have a debit card?

not to ruffle anyones feathers, but you can wear sneakers to clubspace as long as they are stylish. my brother and rzo sat on the platform in front or sander all nite last month and did nothing but take vids and pics in plain sight of space mgmt and security and they did NOT confiscate any of their accessories... but yeah i agree with you guys on the level of service at space, it needs to improve, ive heard of people getting overcharged for drinks and such(luckily i dont go to space to drink!), and of course patrons being treated rudely and abused by some of the bouncers.. i think the safest route to go is to pay cash for all your drinks and be consicous and aware of where you place your ID, CC's, and other personal belongings, and check yourself from time to time to play it safe. personally i dont like starting tabs at clubs, u end up spending more money and there is a chance of fraud and the aforementioned. lets be honest space is a place for great music, thats about it. not at any given time would i say the staff is friendly or courteous, but with the amount of scumbags that frequent that place i dont think they can be, its not a lounge, its a megaclub...

Manny poses an interesting query. if space didnt bring in all the international dj talent would one still go? i would answer it this way...probably not very much, except to go to the terrace in the mornings every once and awhile, i would most likely avoid the mainroom.. but at the same time i dont think it would be the same experience of seeing sander, tiesto, ferry, edgar, markus(hes played his best sets there) at another club in miami, space just has that mystique about it and djs seem to bring their best there, and not to mention they can pretty much go as long as they want, where anywhere else the show is over at 5am... then again nocturnal opening changes the downtown clubbing landscape, so my opinion could change...************ ive had some of the best times of my life at space, but i think the club has seen its zenith, and its on the decline presently..its like anything in history what rises, must fall, i think the same paradigm applies to nightclubs.. just my two cents

yeah we definitely were blatently obvious that night...i mean i took like 7 3 minute videos, plus 30 pics and on the terrace we were basically in the booth taking pics with sander and video of him and the crowd...oh and to top it all off we both also we wearing sneakers...damn are we rebels:haha: :haha: i always where white sneaks to space and they love that ...i mean i wouldn't strut up in there with ing k mart specials around my feet so i dont ever worry about the sneaker bull...t-shirts also, perfectly fine unless u roll up with a bunch of sandbaggers with no style u might get ed with,if u look like a clubber they let u into the club, that just makes sense, doesen't it?... :toocool:

K mart has some sick blue light specials. LOL j/k

But on a serious note ive taken pics @ Space before with no problems (Tiesto last summer) But I think they still have a no camera policy....they just don't enforce it. Ive never ran into any problems with bouncers either....as a matter of fact, last year during WMC the first night I went to Space for PVD....lets just say I took something out of my pocket that I shouldn't have (well at least not right in front of a bouncer lol) and he was pretty nice about the situation and said "I don't wanna see that again" HAHA:crazy:

But I would deff advise paying for your drinks with cash.....that's just a no brainer for any club. I have a buddy that started a tab @ Fur in DC and they ran it up over $800 for a few drinks.

How come there isn't a roll call for Club Space on every regular sat night with no Special event?? but when a top named DJ comes to Miami.. there is about 20+ pages of getting all hyped & excited about it..
