what are your favourites past and/or present?!

for me,
present: the miracle blade with chef tony especially when he demonstrates how we would cut bread before the miracle blade & after the miracle blade. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

present: the tupperware container storage (i forget the actual name). they come in 3 sizes and the lid is one size fits all. anyway, there is this part where this blonde kid is helping an adult storing food & after he finishes he looks at the adult with this stoopid look on his face.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

past: any "amazing discovery" infomercial hosted by Mike Levy & his bil cosby sweaters....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! he was such a NERD!!!

past any dial-a-date infomercial starring "DAVID BRONSTEIN"

<---HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

ahhhhhhh man there were soooooooooo many great ones.....post your favourite(s). im sure ive forgotten many classics!!!

I had to cut myself off from buying from informercials a few years back.

I've bought way too much from: Ronco Food Dehydrator, Ronco Rotissery Chicken, George Foreman Grill, Steak Knives, Tonny Little Gazelle, Dr. Ho's Electrocharger, Tony Robins CDs, Time Life Music 1950 to 1979 CDs, The Pasta Pot Lid-Strainer, Dial-A-Matic Chopper, the list goes on and on (I'm serious, it does)...

Was any of it good?

At least... as good as the infomercials made them seem?

ANd let's pay homage to the original infomercial....

The Ginsu Knife set.

"It slices a tomato so thin that it looks like a photograph on the dinner plate. It cuts through tin cans and steel hammer heads and still cuts like a razor. It filets a fish right down to the skin. It is guaranteed for life, EVEN IF THE DAMAGE IS YOUR FAULT. On TV you get two Ginsu knives (buy one, get one free). Here on the Internet you get the two Ginsu knives plus four steak knives, plus a paring-utility knife, plus the newest Ginsu, the Chef's Knife, a sport-fishing filet knife, and a decorator's delight, a spiral knife to make slinky-toy potatoes."
