Not keen on the kick drum sample you used, it hit me right from the start. Apart from that this track is quite cool, nice perc rhythms, great breakdown, its got everything you need.
Sometimes maybe it spends more time 'builing up' rather than totally 'rocking'. But the whole mix is nice and bright, certainly well produced mate ;) |

I love the melody in this one, so catchy! It's especially cool the way the melody + bassline play together, how they don't change note at the same time, it adds excellent tension and resolution throughout.
I think at the beginning of the tune and towards the end, when just the arps + bassline are playing you could put another element in there, maybe even a sound that plays every 2 or 4 bars.
Mixwise it sounds really good - everything is nice and clear, nice spread of frequencies and panning. Love the sound of the arps around 6:29 with the cool little acid line in the background :)
I did notice a problem with the kick drum, throughout most of the song it's a little weak. It sounds great until 0:27 when the bass comes in - then gets overpowered - you can hear the drop in clarity. Maybe check out the EQ on the kick + bass, and that'll make it sound really powerful.

thanks for taking the time out to listen in guys! ill definately work on the drum after reading the posts and pho mo will definately think of incorporating another element into the tune in terms of the build up and lead out, guess itll make it a bit more interesting!
