New Mixer

Hey everyone. I'm in the market for a new mixer and I need your advice. I only spin trance and dance music soooo I need a mixer that'll best suit my needs. I've seen the Vestax PMC 25 at a few clubs (mainly Italy) and also the Vestax 170?? I think that's the model, it's a techno mixer. I don't think price is really a restraint, but nothing really over $1000. If you can help, I'd appreciate it.

If you have 1000$ don't even look at those mixers!!!
Get yourself a nice top class mixer and you're set for life, you won't need to upgrade/replace it for the next 10 years (atleast)!
Check out the Allen&Heath Xone-62 or the Xone-32 if you don't want the big one, the Rane MP-44, Pioneer DJM-600 and DJM-500, Roland DJ-2000, Vestax PMC-400, Vestax PMC-55.
If you get either one of those you won't be sorry, they're all superb in both sound and build quality.

the best 2 channel mixer is the Mp22 RANE...Rane has one of the best and clearest eqs in the market ...2channel rane runs aroudn 700 or 800$ its just like the mp44 just istn a 4 channel mixer..but if u are will to spend over 1000$ get Rane mp44 or the Rane 2016series Rotary mixer ... one of the best mixers u can get mayb if not THE BEST mixer in the market ..for sound quality and eq clearity!!!!

If you're gonna buy a mixer like an Allen & Heath then I would suggest trying to find a store nearby to buy it from, rather than online. You'll get much better after-sales service from a shop than somewhere off the net. I wouldn't feel happy about parting with over $1000 without being able to take the thing home with me straight away, and with that kind of cash you need to be certain that the site is entirely reputable. Any Joe Schmoe can set up a website claiming to be a dealer. If you have to buy online, make sure it is from one of the big guys, like HTFR or 123dj.
