hi!
this is one of my very first songs... originally, it sounded like crap, but I thought it had some good elements worth continuing this song...
now that my production skills are atleast a little better, I think I can present you the preview of the reworked version... It's gonna be breakbeat, a bit in a Prodigy style, but a bit more dreamy and trancier, yet still driving... I'd be curious if you think this one has at least *some* potential... maybe want to extend it to like 7-9 minutes...

Hey,
Listening .. Intro is really nice, pretty soft and not darky like the rest of your tracks,liked the semitone in the 3 chord of your pads.I like that kinda D&B drums also, the guitar slayer imo becomes kinda annoying after I while but when just begins to play is excellent, also I would add some guitar feedback to make it sound more realistic.
I liked good work man keep it up bro ;).

Interesting idea for me but a little under developed.
The guitar should be replaced by a real player for sure if you were to proceed with this track.
Also on the mix, aart from the low end of the guitar there is next to no low end on this mix. It's almost as if the whole mix (with the exception of he guitar)has a HP filter on it. I'm sure it doesn't but you get the picture.
This leads to whole whole mix lacking the power that behooves it. Work on the LF and you'll find the mix will sound a lot more powerful.
Nice ideas though. |
