I'm saddened to learn that Mara is no more, Barry and Sara buried it and said it is the past and they are moving on. RIP Mara...oh if you want to read what's new with them...usual place :P

Aww... I really liked their productions/remixes.

to be honest there work was starting to go down hill though...i love a lot of mara tunes, but that last couple of things they put out weren't that great...
Ory
Actually I haven't heard their recent stuff, just some pre-2000 work...

Turning It On was there most recent track? I liked this, not like their earlier stuff though.

It's a shame, I have always liked their work. And I love Sara's vocals... :(

I wasn't that fond of their later work so I guess it's not that huge a loss to me. However, I really liked their older stuff such as "Always", "Orinocco", "The One" and "Fall From Grace" by them.

Mara as a liveact is not dead I think. I do know that Barry told me that he does not intend to do anymore Mara stuff, ie. remixes or productions. That's the past as he told me.

But at least they didn't divorce... right? So there is a chance they will return when he gets bored... :p

Shame, love some of their old work.

Mara - 1974 also owns me :)

i beleive the last few mara tracks was just barry anyway ..i think sarah just put the vocal in some of the mara tracks. The thing is producers dont make crap for money anymore thats why u see some of the old timers stopping its not worth it half the time anymore to make tracks when the market is weak.
