Hey yall, I haven't been doing much lately because of responsibility like working and stuff. God I wish I could just make music for a living!
Anyway, here is my latest track. And It's a bit different then the normal trance I have been doing and have posted on here before. Im expanding my horizons!!! Trying to anyway..

Hey Lombardo :)
I like the bassline, and the way you bring the synths in on the bassline. I like the 'empty' sort of feel to the breakdown - this is a nice sort of chillout piece of trance. Good work |

Interesting track. Like it a lot.

The mix is very mid rangy. The loop is too loud for me and the arpeggiated riff is waaay loud to my ears, as its counterpoint piano part.

Your low end is great though. I'd say too quiet, but if you turn down the parts above and bring the overall level of the mix up it should slam without furher tweak. Kick and bassline rule.
Structure is good too. :-)
I have to ask what are you using for the monster synth that first shows up at 1:23? Awesome. Love it.. :-) |

Hey, Thanks for your thoughts!!! I think your right about the arp being too loud. I couldn't really make a decision on the level. (its funny that you mentioned it)thanks!
The first synth that comes in is a Vanguard. And it is (Tranceangel on an arp setting) one of the original soundbank leads that comes with the plugin.

Also, Do you or anyone that is listening know of any labels that do trance like this? I feel like all my is weird like this. And maybe its because I am not a dj.. Just curious.. |

Its funny how 43 people can view this thread, but only 2 people said anything about it. Come on fellows, you can atleast tell me it sucks or something... I am just trying to be involved and to learn because this is what i love to do.
I have been on this board for a alittle while now and I do see that only a certain group of kats on here get recognition. (Almost like a click.) Well that is played out! and Im sure the majority of people on here are only trying to better themselves and learn. And oppinions and feedback (positive or negative) is the best way.
Just my thoughts. And Im not trying to sound ignorant so if you are taken it that way then I appologize.
