A lot of tracks I do not care for and/or poor remixes chosen when better ones exist. Max graham mix is the only way to go for winter...gabriel and dresdens remix dissapointed me for perasma...and the smith and pledger remix for sincere is terrible.

FOR ME....this is a must miss

each to their own, although the original mix of sincere is a bit dated and not as banging, the original of perasma doesn't fit and the comp is mixed by dt8 after all - why shouldn't it be the original. ministry are going to try and get some of their tracks on arent they? still cd2 rocks :)

Tracks look a bit dated and overplayed.
I would think twice before getting this.

Jesus these are some of the best 'trance' records around right now and if I'm not mistaken Euphoria was built on trance??

The tracklist for this comp isn't bad, I agree, but just look at what happened to the Trance Nation series. It started off great, but as soon as Ministry started to go commercial, Ferry decided not to do them because they were trying to tell him what tracks to put on the CDs. And since then it's gone down the pan, with every new CD looking more like the average "Best Dance Anthems In The World... EVER!! Volume 57" CD.

The same thing is going to happen with these Euphoria CDs over time. As time goes on, there'll be fewer and fewer compilations by the likes of J00F and other more underground artists, and the likes of Judge Jules and Dave Pearce will dominate the compilations more and more.

Watch this space, I tells ya...

Depends whether you buy a compilation purely for all the latest tracks that haven't been played by lesser known DJ's (were talking about the knowledge of the general public here not the trance trainspotters of Britain) over the internet or as a collection of really good tunes mixed really well.

There comps sell 100,000 units - the people online that get to hear the tracks or actually buy vinyl represent 1% of the buying market.

Personally I think MOS have lost the plot recently in regards to the Trance Nation series etc., but in actual fact all they've tried to do is copy the Clubland Series released originally by All Around The World, which is the biggest dance compilation in the UK (400,000 units). And surprise suprise that's full of cheese which is biggest seller right now.

As a result I'm quite pleased with this new comp because at least it gives 'jo public' and opportunity to hear some of the better tracks out there. If people don't buy this one though MOS will stop trying to put out the cooler stuff altogether which means all those trance producers out there will end up having to write cheese too to earn a living..

I couldn't agree more. I think they own the Euphoria rights now too, so expect that this series will go down the pan too. What a
shambles.

Couldn't agree more. I've been buying the Euphoria series since the first one came out (although avoided the hard house ones!) as I was getting more and more disappointed with the weekly MoS releases with same old crap....

I thought Ferry's Absolute Euphoria was ok, and avoided the Judge Jules one on principle it was a Judge Jules one and on MoS so was going to be bad news....this however looks far more promising. Not as good as the old days of the PF Project and the 'black editions' though.

Ferry's was 'INFINITE Euphoria' and I liked that too! With regards to the Judge Jules one, I had a listen and I quite liked it. Nothing groundbreaking, but alot of classics mixed together which was quite good.

As for the new one which I got yesterday, haven't had a chance to listen to it all the way through, but it sounds fantastic! Well done MoS!
