| lol, what is it with the UK and not being able to cope when its snowing, other places seem to manage okay, how do you americans and canadians (specifically) do it....? you get a lot more snow than us, as does scandinavia, yet there's a bit of snow here (2-3 inches) and its utter chaos.... :wtf: oo , its settling now, I must leave for work before I pull off some torvill & dean type manoeuvres in my car :D :stongue: |

my dad came home from work about 6am this morning, there was no snow.
By 7.30 there was an inch.
By the time i got to uni (now)
its probably a winter wonderland back in twickenham!

Yeah I usually live in Canada but right now I'm in Germany, and damn Europeans need to learn to drive in Snow.
Theres like 1 cm of snow and people slide all over the road, dont know how to accelerate, turn, etc. More crashes here on 1 cm than in canada with a foot, lol. And they close stuff for like 5 cm of snow... :whip: |

it never snows in florida.
i remember when i lived up north, i was 6 years old. there was an all-night blizzard and the city was in a dead-lock. i remember going outside, and when i went out in the snow, its was up to chest. i had so much fun. i built a tunnel through it, and my mum couldnt find me. i just giggles as i heard her footsteps above. |

| cuz the rest of you non snow getting pansies can't take the weather. See here in coldland aka Canada (5 months of the year), we have the same people who can't drive for nada in snow. In Canada, you have two choices, be a sellout and move to hurricane alley in Florida or just stfu and get the facking skates out with the hockey stick out and go play shinny on the pond with the friends, then go back and drink beer!!!. We are very simple minded people at times :). Seriously tho, Toronto gets 15cm and the radio people call it a major storm, while the people from Calgary get a foot of snow and that's just normal. Actually most of Canada does not get severe weather, try far north like resolute (middle of nowhere), they get a ton of snow and no one cares because the only people who live their are hardened nomad inuits and research scientists who work for the station for the gov't. It's cold now in Toronto -24C with the windchill, resolute is nearly -60C. So learn to deal with it, the month is march and spring and summer are on the way...WOOOOOOOOT! |

| if it snowed 1cm. here in tampa, the whole city would would be locked down for days. there are no salt trucks to salt the roads. it would be just like when we were hit by 4 hurricanes back in august/september. |
