hello hello, I am in need of some assistance.:D Can anyone tell me, I am buiding my business website (Entertainment company) and I want trance to be playing throughout each visit. But I was informed that i could not play anything that was not specifically made for me or it would be stealing! Is this true? do i have to get something created or can I use any track I like? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated at this point. Thanx!:conf:

I think you need a special permission...BUT with that said the chances that you'll get nailed or sued or it are pretty slim. It depends what kind of website you're going to put it on. If it's a website that is just your own for fun and stuff you should be OK, chances of them finding out are really slim anyway. But if it's a serious commercial website where youare doing business or making money you might be in danger because you are using the music in the background to attract more people, hence produce revenue, hence you need the permission of the author/producer/label and etc... At least that's how I see it working out...

You need to get license permission for any commercial use of music.
