I have 2 teams, both in first. But I don't like to talk about it because it might jinx things. Knock knock
I am just confident in my baseball knowledge even though I obviously made a few trade mistakes. My batting is pretty fierce but my pitching is hit or miss for ERA and WHIP. But they get the wins most times.
Still, it's only half way over so there's a lot left to happen. Who knows with injuries and guys getting hot/cold.
At the same time, some of the trade requests I get kind of tell me that people think I belong on the short bus or something. You got to give up something to get something. |

my TA team currently has 6 people in the DL, and my other b-ball team has 3 in the DL .. :nervous: :nervous: .. injuries have followed me this whole season .. |

you know how shaky it is ?? .. so far this week, my "best" hitter is antonio perez from the dodgers .. :wtf: ..
derek lee won't be playing for the rest of this week, because he got hurt on tuesday .. :whip: ..
and chris silva gave up some runs, minnesota wins, but silva doesn't get counted for the win. :whip: ..
this week isn't going well for me .. :( ... hahhahahaa |

If you didn't notice, I have a massive hard-on for Brian Roberts...lol. I think he's the real deal. I told all my friends about the trade... and they thought I was out of my mind... because I'm such a tight ass in trades. I got nothing against Santana, but I haven't had a 2B all year.
I'd love to get a big name SS, but I don't think that will happen.
I'm just looking to get in the playoffs hopefully as high as a 3rd seed, but more likely to be 4,5, or 6... then anything can happen... so I'll keep floundering around .500.... till september comes.... |

o yeah Im a big brian Roberts guy too, he was in my other league last year and this year I have him starting in my other league again.I have some other (not as great but o well) options in 2b so thats why I gave up on B ROB.Santana was a guy I needed to really sure up my pitching staff.
Overall great trade, lets see how it all turns out :) |
