Was just wondering why they never play in the uk? As i've not seen them but i've heard loads of their stuff. And it is absolutely awesome!! good remixers/producers. just wondered how come the likes of Passion, Godskitchen have not had them playing there yet. seems a bit of a mystery to me. what do you reckon?

Actually their live mixing is abysmal. Ask any of the GTAs.

I dunno.. when i saw them in toronto.. their mixing was spot on... unusual maybe.. but it definatley was!

some of the partyservice mixes were decent.. they get away with their rough mixing by their tracklistings and production skills though

:D

I saw them about 18 months ago. I wasn't expecting much in the way of mixing as I'd heard some of their sets and heard people complaining about them.
They were better than people make them seem.
I'd definitely go see them again given the chance.

Blank & Jones are great producers in my opinion and I've dreamt about seeing them mix live for years. Last November I had my opportunity to see them live at The Mayan in Los Angeles and I was understandably excited about finally having the opportunity to do so. I respect these guys almost more than anyone else in the business, but I was truly disappointed in their performance. Their set just sounded too predictable and they selfishly made it B&J track heavy. Granted you go see an artist live and you expect to hear some of their tracks, but I swear at least half the tracks they played that night, if not more, were their own.
They returned to LA just this past month and needless to say, despite my being such a huge fan, I passed on this performance.
