Mr. Destiny
Sometimes happens. We were just as surprised as you since we signed a contract in February and paid our deposit in March. After quite a heated phone call with the agent yesterday, we were told that since John already has played WEMF the last few years and his profile isn't as high in South America they decided to take that gig instead. It is by far the lamest thing that we have seen from an agent/DJ in a long time and are quite pissed. Since we found out 24hours ago we have been looking at a replacement for John and will announce that shortly.

If you look on our site at wemf.com there was a post about this very topic on the weekend that we have left up to ensure there was transperancy on the matter and that all the info was made public ASAP.

We can confirm that all other artists are 100% confirmed and looking forward to a great event. Unfortunately with an show as big as WEMF it is inevitable that something will go wrong with one or two bookings every year. There are over 200 performers and on average we usually lose 2-3 due to various reasons. The good thing about this year is that we actually have some notice and can replace the artist before the event happens as opposed to it being a weather issue where its all last minute.

Rest assured we are working hard to make this WEMF our best ever. You will not be dissapointed!

OS & The Crew.

That is lame as hell.
Somebody already pointed that out days ago on the WEMF board, but OS hadn't really clarified the matter.
Very unprofessional on John's part. Especially when Destiny had already paid their deposit.

Glad to have a straight and clear answer. I hope you all have success in finding a replacement we all love.

Dennis is already confirmed to play on the mainstage at WEMF.
He's did the kick-off party also.

Accuface will not disappoint.
And as OS stated on his board, though there may not be as many huge trance headliners this year, over half of the DJ's booked will be spinning some type of trance. There won't be a shortage.

ADAM SHERIDAN - UK
(Goodgreef, PFA, www.adam-sheridan.com)

“..deemed the Best Undiscovered talent by Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten”

”One of the UK's best trance DJs” – Pete Tong

”I rate Adam Sheridan as a DJ, he's got a great future” - Paul van Dyk

“Quite possibly the youngest ever Essential Mixer” - Pete Tong

“voted Mixmag's Future Hero 2004 by readers”

In 2004, Adam Sheridan was voted at number 136 in DJ Magazine's poll for the best DJs in the world. Adam is quite possibly the youngest entry into the DJ Magazine Poll and the 21-year-old is also the youngest ever DJ to record a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix (Jan 04), which was commended for its diversity and innovation and has well and truly launched Adam on the world stage. Adam Sheridan has received such praise as “one of the UK's best trance DJs” from Pete Tong and “I rate Adam Sheridan as a DJ, he's got a great future” from Paul van Dyk and so his Essential Mix marked the beginning of a breakthrough into the league of top British talent.

Adam Sheridan was deemed the Best Undiscovered Talent by two of the top five DJs in the world – Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten, in 2003. Throughout 2003 and 2004, Adam has risen through the ranks and has now become one of the most accomplished and sought-after new talents to emerge from the UK. His unique style of three deck mixing and crossing genres from trance to techno, as well as his highly acclaimed production, has grabbed the attention of clubbers, promoters and his DJ peers and has propelled Adam from undiscovered to distinguished.

Adam's technical ability and polished production has resulted in ongoing support from some of the world's biggest DJs and the music press, having been voted Mixmag's Future Hero by readers at the start of this year. A Trance Award followed in March and Adam compiled a credible mix CD for July's M8 Magazine, containing exclusive material. He was handpicked by Paul van Dyk to play alongside him at the first Vandit party outside Berlin, at Heaven in London and also after Tiësto at Cream at the breathtaking Amnesia, Ibiza last July. There are few young DJs who can boast playing alongside, and receiving support from, the biggest DJs in the world.

This summer, Adam has a further four dates at Cream Amnesia and will be performing on the main stages of all the main festivals, including Dance Valley and Impulz in the Netherlands and Creamfields, Coloursfest and Escape in the Park. Adam regularly plays the biggest and best clubs in the UK such as Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Turnmills, Inside Out, Slinky, Passion, Garlands and of course Goodgreef, where it all began. All of his sets feature exclusive tracks and remixes, making his performances fresh and original. Adam also frequently performs at various clubs around the globe and is signed to Dutch record label Purple Eye.

Please join us in welcoming Adam to his first ever North American appearance!

To celebrate this joyous occasion, we’re giving away 100 copies of Adam’s upcoming M8 Magazine July 05 edition mixed CD.
