The 387kph was done on a BANKED TRACK. They have yet to test it at Ehra on the 9km straight that the F1 was tested on. They fully expect the CCR to exceed 395kph. |

So? Do you not see 9FF's car was on a banked track too? The're aiming for 400km/h next time. |

It's not a production car so it doesn't count.
Plenty of cars have gone over 400kph. |

9FF, like RUF get their shells from porsche and build the cars themselves. They have their own VIN #'s as well. |

The Zonda I believe barely does 201mph.
I love it so, however.

cool. but I HATE IT when people make stupid comments like..oh it didnt need a 6.0L v12 to get there just a v8...
fast is fast, no matter what motor however you're comparing a NATURALLY aspirated v12 to a heavily boosted v8.
boosted motors are very different then n/a ones. how about doing it with an n/a v8? or bolting on a couple turbos to the mcleran ;)
its pointless to argue over the motors. |
