| whats this nonesense about "this wouldnt happen if marijuana was legal" ? if its not marijuana its extasy if its not extasy its coke. scumbags will always be scumbags, hes a lazy bum looking for an easy way of making money. if the was legal he would have looked for another criminal way to get his money. weed is not the killing factor. |

Dude...1st of all that link doesn't work & 2nd...These RCMP officers had families and one or two of them had wifes that we're expecting another kid and basically starting out in new detachments...Would you repeat that quote of yours to the faces of the families? |

That's so sad that they had a family and kids on the way. Let me take this napkin and wipe away my tears... ohh boo hooo....
It's their job, and if something goes wrong, I'm not going to be crying about it on a trance forum. too ing bad, happens.
They know what they're doing, it's their job to put their life on the line.
Who knows the whole story on this POT deal gone sour. From the looks of it was a piece of the profit between four of them when it backfired by a crazed fool redneck.
Waste of life for a plant, I have more sympathy for the guys who get their dick chopped off by crazy bitches. |

These shootings had nothing to do with Marijuana...that's the angle the press took to get headlines. Here's what I read:
- The cops raided his place to recover stolen property, not marijuana. It was merely a coincidence.
- the shooter was a sociopath who hadn't seen his brother and father who live within minutes for like 10 years.
- This guy had constant dealings with the RCMP and had previously shot at them, had spike belts on his property and had an intense hatred for their "harassment" of his being.
- All shooting took place in his quanset (large barn). I'm assuming he took up a position where he could see the doors and picked them off as they tried to enter.
It's a sad day and I for one, truly question the training of those RCMP officers. Honestly, four is too many. Heck, this many RCMP officers haven't died on one occassion since the Louis Riel Rebellion in the late 1800's |

One guy ..(Which the cops knew about ,that he was a violent person, had clashes with the police) Killed 4 trained officers.
I smell something fishy,we are not being told the whole truth.
Even if he did set up a shooting place hide for himself ,he would only get one cop ,the other one would not enter the same way. And he would have enough time to call for backup.
Something deffinatly they are not telling us. |

You forgot to mention that:
-the killer was released from custody by a Justice of the Peace just before the shooting
-he had a long list of criminal convictions, including a two and a half year prison term for sexually assaulting a boy
-he used a semi-automatic, assault-style rifle to mow down all 4 Mounties within seconds from a sniper position
-Alberta does not have its own provincial police force; the RCMP have that role there |

Very shocking and sad to hear about 4 RCMP officers die in the line of duty.
I dont smell any conspiracy here, just some psychopath gone insane. The only thing that really puzzles me is that he shot himself afterwards - that really makes me think if there was more than just one bad guy ... we may not find out about that, not at least after the complete crime scene analysis :disbelief :( |
