An ABSOLUTE smashing turnout, lots of fun and GREAT music. Great people, great vibe. A bipolar OPPOSITE of the from Chesterfield.
Arturo opened with his blend of prog tunes, and I wasn't disappointed. Excellent work, my friend.
Following him was Mr. Miami Mike Warren with some KILLER breaks, and I'm NO FAN of breaks, but the stuff he played was top notch.
DJ Douglas, aka ghosthondo here on TA, came up next and delievered a SICK, NASTY trance set that had me :eyes: in' LOVED every minute of it!!!!! Your set tonight smashed the one at Fliptonia. Your best track: UK Connection - Amsterdam (Filo and Peri remix). MEMORIES!
And Finally, Groove Eric brought the FLTA DJ invasion to an end with some familiar stuff, including the Song of the Night once again, Filo & Peri - Closer now (Whiteroom remix)
The TA turnout was STUNNING. Koky, Leo, Mel, Karen, Ingrid, Renzo, Jasin, Ben, Manny, Candy, Harold, Bling. Of course Damon and Colleen came in from Tampa. The troopers once again! :toocool:
Nice of Paula (Pauli55) to introduce yourself. :) Hope you can come out for more often. We got Manny's party on the 19th!
I do have to say this: Bums are teh GHEY. :whip:
And it was COLD out tonight.
Oh, and Drum n Bass is UBER GHEY. The that those morons at Players decided to book at 2Pm was the most obnoxious sounding in' I have EVER heard. And I complained about HOUSE sounding bad!

Yeah, those in' idiots at Players ed up all the DJs timetables so these grungy punk asses could play their lame ass drum n' bass. We coulda kept this party goin' all night long, but again, some management just seem to be good at shoving their own heads up other people's asses. :whip: |

here is my clubhoppin nite in review
Players
first of all, great to see such a good turnout of TA's and Cper's in attendance. though the nite got kinda messed up with the set times as it ended at 2 everyone used their hour wisely and dropped some nasty
arturo-what happened? lol no progressive styled markus set ?
arturo banged it out
mrmiami-threw down a sick breaky set
the sets of the nite go to doug and eric
Doug-doug threw that down nastyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
didnt want his set to end. just good and nasty trance
grooveeric-eric took it up even more droppin some old skool trance that had me dancin my ass of for a while
good times
WAREHOUSE-DANNY TENAGLIA
ill review it for cj but i must say........ the club had some bad technical issues at first with the lights but once that was resolved it was pretty good
bad parts
1) lights issues at first
2) men to women ratio (mostly guys)
good parts
1) dt's set really hard to id a few im sure phil would have gotten that andrew and I could not id.
2) dt played some diva house not much but mostly DARKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK AND TRIBALLY NASTY UNDERGROUND HOUSE (he played just like the club looked

CLUB SPACE
wanted to see the changes
I LOVE THE NEW LOOK. THE NEW MIRROR DOWNSTAIRS BTW HIP HOP AND MAIN ROOM IS SICK.
I love how it was decorated for the ORIGINS party . very well done. looked like a lot of work went into it with the net over the main room and (autumn motiff with little leaves)
the patio/roof looked GREATTTTTTTTT . LOVE THE DJ BOOTH IN THE CENTER NOW. THE PATIO JUST LOOKS BIGGER!!! now with the placement of the hut in the center
love how they have a lifted area around it . great spot for pics
cedric was banging it out a bit harder then ive heard for patio sets. inside a friend of cedric's was throwin it down
the place was packed as always.(even on a residents nite) more so then warehouse even.. main room was pretty full at 630 am
patio had a good amount of people too. oh IT WAS FREEZZZZZZZZZZINGGGGGGGGGG
