I loved the older stuff, but everything after Memory doesnt do it for me or is ridiculously cheesy imo, god music is a proper cheesefest :(
That said, Memory is brilliant, the Trauma remix is their best work, and Missed Beat is beautiful
They even made Barthezz - On the Move passable in a club :D
shame they went downhill, luckily Flutlicht took over :D
but then Flutlicht split
and I cried :( |

I have, a shame tho, Flutlicht really were class, but then I guess its better for them to have split whilst ahead :) |

| I fully agree on that! Flutlicht was unique. They are really missed :( |

To be honest, n0bben, DuMonde is not cheese. But well, despite our earlier discussion (where I was a little too hotheaded I must admit, when I red it back) about this, I still don't think they're cheese. Special D. is cheese.
Ah well, I had a sip of camomille, I calmed down. Everybody his opinion. ;) |

ofcourse there are different grades of commercialism, but todays dumonde are closer to special d than quality music. both use the same elements: ridicolous melodies and insignificant vocals.
then again i see i drive a battle again two dumonde-heads, might explain why you are slightly biased to say the least. |

| I agree on the fact that the vocals of DuMonde's latest records aren't that meaningfull. Better: they make no sense whatsoever. But to call them cheese, well...I think that's a little bit too harsh. And to speak of a 'battle'. If that's how you see it.....:conf: |

| dumonde - never look back [tiesto mix] one of the best hard trancers ever powerful on 3 different levels.. heavy drums, overwhelming synth, and thought provoking vocals. what more can you ask for ? |

| Am I the only one that thought that, bar the vox, NLB sounded shedloads like thier Binary Finary remix? |

'Cheese' it what wankers say when they've got nothing to put forward as a constructive opinion. It's just a e saying. What does it mean? all.... Say something instead of filling the space with bollocks.
Rant over. |
I'm surprised you got all that out through the tears in your eyes. |
