| I definately think that Orkidea plays tech-trance but if you guys says he's progressive then I've finally found my entry into the progressive scene. His radio shows and albums kick ass. |

Wow thanks man! I just don't get it. Why didn't you read the first page of this thread. All these tracks (exeption of one) were already mentioned. You really helped out! :)
Oh and to comment on the tech trance thing. Orkidea plays trance. Not even progressive. Ian Ossia was progressive. Slower, tribal, more bass driven rather then melodic, also guy vocals are more predominent rather then female. Now tech trance is on the complete other side of the spectrum. He was nowhere near "techie". Think Mark Scaiffe man.

Where could I find some of his radio show's or anything mixed by him? AG didn't have anything recorded, just a few of his remixes and unity, that's pretty much it when I did the search. |

| Orkidea's set was amazing !!! ...you gotta hear it again !!! We got his whole set, should be available by the end of the week, keep checkin ta.com for info. I thought orkidea had the fiddler dude (who was in awesome!!!) twice too ...but listening to it again, i think the first time he was on was for Ian Ossia, right before orkidea came on, gotta double check tho. |

orkedias set was progressive for the most part.
I guess the reason it sounded different than most progressive is cause
it was good progressive.
we dont usually hear a DJ like that. progressive should be good too.
its epic trance without the break down, ambient melodies, and intense build ups.
its like just the beginning and end parts, but with proper production, this can still be amazing. |

I think violon action was twice for Orkidea, I got there when Orkidea was on and I saw the violon guy twice.
And paco you are right, his radio shows and sets are unreal. I found beautiful melodies, epic, and alot of good stuff tucked behind Orkidea's progressive beats.
Just amazing sounds, that take me on a whole new kind of journey. |

Thanks!! Just because he played a prog track it does not make Orkidea progressive. Or tech-trance for that matter. If I remember correctly PVD had that in his sets not too long ago. Same remix. I'm sorry I just have trouble calling PVD a prog dj. Same goes for Orkidea man.
This definition of progressive is starting to get on my nerves. When I think progressive, I think of Digweed, Jimmy Van M, Lawler (a bit more tribal) and also Deep Dish. Not ing Orkidea who played 4 strings?!?!?!
Orkidea plays trance. I don't care what the flyer says. :)
