You can buy the record on Juno. Radio edits and full length mixes. I'm definitely sure it's the Jacques Lu Cont Thin White Dukes Remix. It sounds exactly what G&D played at Spundae. I loved it. :eyes:

G&D also played African Stomper (I think). I love that track! Or it might have been Firewall - Sincere (Smith & Pledger mix), I just remember hearing it and knowing it was time to put down the drink and go dance!

Anyways, it was sooooo great to be back at Circus. Like sweetcandy girl said, it was good to be home!

The only people I saw that I recognized were Kristina and this guy Bob that I see everywhere. (Even Vegas trips)

Hahaha. Only caught a bit of Lawrence, as the wife was tired (not used to dancing late anymore).

Man, I can't wait till Armin!!!

Oh, my wife was saying she thinks Dresden should dress a bit better to perform.

On the groovetickets' web site, there is a warning that even if a person
has a ticket, if the club is full, then he cannot get in the club. There is no refund either. Is this true?

most clubs are like this. it's not like its a seated event where people are accounted for. you have a certain time to show up before your ticket becomes neglagable.

Here is a few selected pictures from the show.
All pictures resized down to 25% of native size. Sorry if this is too much! I'll edit the post if need be. Pics taken with Canon EOS 20D with the standard "cheap" lens.

I have been to many events but I never heard something like this before.
They know the club capacity, and they should sell accordingly. I would
be furious if I am rejected ticket in my hand after all the parking hassle.
And, no refund after all, they should get real. Since same clubs have
different purchase policy for different events, I am guessing the issue
is with the event organizers, who apparently do not take some crowds
seriously.

I am late with my experience but I need to say I had a great time.

I havent been out much recently for a myriad of reasons but it was great to see everyone again.

Thanks so much to sweetcandy_girl for kicking my ass to get me out there.

It was soo much fun. Havent had that much fun dancing in a long time.

Sorry I am rambling here. ARMIN in 2 weeks baby!

My friend and I had a really nice time on Saturday.

We arrived around 9:40. Paid the standard 10 bucks to park in the lot. Walked over to the ticket tent, where there was NO line for GrooveTickets – SWEET!.. since we had presales for a couple weeks now. (Incidentally, the VIP/Guest-List line was at least 30 to 40 people long.) We continued on to the front door – bypassing the HUGE general admission line and literally (minus a quick stop by some 12 year old blond kid in a suit) walked right up to a big welcome handshake and hug by doorman extraordinaire, Cole!

We had parked, got our ticket, and were in the door in less than 5 minutes.

It’s too bad others had such a bad experience.

I haven’t been to Circus since Spundae left, and the changes I saw, I liked.

The TV monitors circling the DJ booth were an especially cool touch! All of the new furniture was a nice change to.

I really have no complaints about the facility or the evening.

If I had to pick something to bitch about, it would be the crazy older Asian couples. Specifically the ones who whip each other back and forth while “dancing” – with no regard for who is around them. I’m sorry, but they give off such an icky vibe. I’d almost rather have an e-puddle plopped down in front of me rather than that.

It was the first chance I’ve had to see Gabriel & Dresden spin. And while I did enjoy myself thoroughly, I wouldn’t say this particular performance wowed me. I enjoyed the ladder part of their set the most.

Christopher Lawrence came on and for sure kicked it up a few notches. Unfortunately, and its totally just me, but an hour or so into his set, I was spent.

A very nice evening out. I’m glad to see Spundae back at Circus, and look forward to the renewed partnership.

Next – ARMIN, 3/19/05! Have had my presales for WEEKS now!

YOU MUST ARRIVE BEFORE 11PM TO ENSURE ENTRY

We will hold space for everyone who picks up their EXPRESS TICKETS BETWEEN 9:00PM and 11:00PM.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 11:00PM?
At 11PM we can no longer hold capacity for you and we will start letting in the general admission guest up to our capacity. If you arrive after we've reached capacity, you will be given priority admission.

WHAT IS PRIORITY ADMISSION?
Once we reach capacity, those holding EXPRESS TICKETS will be admitted before those in the General or Guest List lines, but you must wait for people already admitted to leave the club to make room.

WHAT IF EXPRESS TICKETS FOR A SPECIFIC EVENT ARE SOLD OUT?
We are only selling a limited number to each event and there is plenty of room at Spundae @ Circus (approx. 1800 capacity) if you arrive early.
We suggest arriving by 9:00PM to ensure entry. NO REFUNDS. All sales are final and you must agree to all the terms as outlined above and in the GROOVETICKETS.COM Terms of Purchase agreement on this form. Thank you for your support, Circus & Spundae.

They do sell accordingly = limited on-line presale. :tongue2
