Gun like Snare samples

Im in need of a hard, perhaps abrasive snare drum/s. i have a Killer idea that i need to put to use, but i dont have the know how to create my own. i need almost clanky, gunshot snares with a really fat sound.
i hope someone can help. thanks |

| sorry, i should have thought it through more. basicly i mean a sound/sample of a very gun like...snare. |

hmm cool trick to do is take a regular 909 snare sample pitch it up a few octaves and add a slight overdrive to it

The Plugsound Free VSTi has gunshot samples, you could layer them on top of a snaredrum and adjust velocities and such as you wish.

It's a small 64 meg sampling of all their plugsound products, has a really nice spanish guitar and moog-like bass sample too. No restrictions, just a small sampleset. |
