the boredom of youth...

ok... in hanging out with my friends lately, we've realized we've fallen into a rut. everything is the same, and even though whenever we go out and do something, it might be fun... it still always has that "sameness" to it, cuz thats what we always do...

granted... when you and your friends are either 15 or 16... with little money, and no car, theres not much you can do...

we really don't like sitting around doing nothing, we really dont like going to the mall, cuz we never buy anyhing. we can go to the movies, or rent a movie and go to someones house and watch it, but thats like all we do...

honestly... the only times that myself and a group of friends was never really this bored was back when i smoked, and we all drank on a regular basis. cuz then there was always something to do... "hey, can i have a cigarette?" "hey, wanna smoke..?" "im out... im gonna see if i can go get some more...", or "hey, so-and-so has some pot and we're all goin to whatever place to hit it..." or "hey, how bout we all get together whenever, cuz i can get some whatever alcohol of choice for us...."

yea... im glad ive stopped smoking, and glad none of my friends now smoke. its bad for ya. i would know. and we barely drink, if at all anymore, really, which is a good thing to, and im not saying that we should go and start drinking or smoking like there's no tomorrow, but DAMN.... atleast back then there was something to do...

so anyways.... anyone have any original ideas for stuff to now, and whenever somebody gets their drivers liscense?

also, i'll get my liscense on april 22nd, my birthday (woo), and we get a day off of school. if all goes well, i'll have a car, and insurance on that car by my birthday. where should i go/what should i do...?

Man, I had that same happen to me over last summer. Everyday, we would buy a sack, smoke, watch a movie, and then peace out. Every day was the same, nothing new happened, everything we did was stale.

Same for me, except replace green tea with shrooms and women's clothes with my clothes. Just put on Dead Cities, and it's bound to be cracka-lackin.

You call that doing something?

Oh and if your bored with friends, grab a video camera and think up of nice things to do... you know like kidnap one of your friends in front of a crowd and see the peoples reactions, etc..... priceless:thepirate

My friends did that to my fiance in Toronto (they grabbed him and shoved him into my friend's car, "kidnap style", and some guy on the Streetcar called the cops, who called the SWAT team. We eloped.
