How do cd turntables handle cd's with printed labels?

I know that whenever you burn a cd and slap a cd label on it, and try to put it in a cd player that automatically slides the cd in, the cd tends to stick or resist. Is this the same case for some or all cd turntables?

It might be because it's center of mass isn't really centered... but it's probably something else.

Granted, these labels that I still have a bunch of are about three years old. Maybe there's better labels out there that don't have this sort of problem?

I have never had this problem. Make sure you smooth out the label an remove and air bubbles. I havent used labels recently as I have an inkjet printer that prints directly on the cd.

Ive never had this problem, I have some cheapy memorex labels, and use a stomper so everything is fine.

Some labels are thicker than others and may get stuck in CD car players, but I've never had a problem with labeled cd's on Pioneer/Numark cd decks.

i've noticed some labels have cheap adhesive and no matter how well you place it on the cd it still moves or falls off...maybe heat from the cd deck is playing into this as well.

cd decks can get hot if they've been playing for a long period of time. use better labels.
