I think I'll probably try to hit the road at around noon on Saturday. It should be about 4.5 hours from Madison, so I'll probably get there around 5ish.
Someone should show me how to use a cdj, too. :D |

right on rob, you gunna bring the 800's? i was gunna say cause i can bring the 700S's if need be, but i don't really have road cases for them. anyways thats quite a collection of speakers phreek, is that all gunna need to be moved to the venue...?
:eyes:  :eyes:  |
Yeah man, I'm bringing mine. It's a little worrysome, but I will be absolutely worthless without them (I know, weak right, but they're what I'm used to). I do have some real nice Grundorf Flight Cases for them so they'll be easy to transport.
Just a heads up ahead of time too, please don't take any offense if I ask any of you other DJ's to move your drinks or something. If anyone saw how my first DJM got ruined, you'd understand why I'm a little paranoid. Don't hesitate to use them; that's what I'm bringing them for, just DO hesitate to place any kind of aqueous (SP?) solution near them, that's all I ask, but I guess that's probly understood :wtf: !
In any event, it does look llike we'll have a helluva collection.
Cheers,

All you need to know is that on that night, it is what we make it, nothing more and nothing less.

In response to some of the comments-
-Yeah, we are bringing all of the speakers to the venue.
-Daniel K, you can play peak time tunes, that's when we will have you spin anyways since you are best suited for that. :)
-We haven't come up with the chronological lineup yet though.
-We were supposed to go visit the venue last Friday, but phreek's wallet was lost/stolen so we didn't end up going, but everything is OK, we will visit it in a few days I think when he gets back from Canada.
-We will need someone to bring CD decks though, but as far as I know we will be using my Technics decks I guess.
-My girlfriend Julie says its ok for a couple of you to sleep at our place for the night, so if a couple of you are interested, thats cool... we have a couch and a floor... soo... yeah. Haha :)
-Just a reminder, Daylight Savings Time will be the week before the event, so Indiana will be on Central time for the party.
Hmm I dunno what else... This is gonna be a great night! I'm kinda crunk so that's all for now yo... |
