I was thinking since he's quiting the trance scene maybe he could share some of his method's now that we're not competition (not that we ever were :P). No matter what anyone says even if i didn't fo crazy over some of his music, his production was almost always flawless. So how bout it jesper ?

He's quitting the trance scene? Is he going prog or just quitting producing altogether? Sorry, I've been outta the loop...

Still, he must have some good tricks up his sleeve... I've tried to reverse engineer some of his sounds before and he's a major influence to my music. I'd love to hear anything about his techniques even if it is just...

Vizay It doesn't mean we'll copy it right off, but knowing how some complex sounds are made, we become more knowleadgable and can apply some thinks that we've learned in creating our own stuff. I may have a sound in my head and not know how to go about making it even though i've read the latest book on analogue subtractive's and seeing how certain sounds are created could help immensly
DJ-Igloo
Its about taking that and playing with ur synths and creating those sounds. Learing is the key thinking to makeing those mega awsome tracks. Im Still learing and im doing this now as a profession. You have to take it step by step learing from others ppl's ideas will only get u so far. Your on creative ideas will get you those great sounding tracks. Learn ! and Hardwork.

Is that supposed to be a big deal? I had downloaded one marked as such, but didn't really use it much, so I deleted it.
Airbase
If there is a secret, I want to know about it too :)
I dont have any really good tips or anything, nothing that you wont realise yourself in time when producing. A good thing to remember thought is that less is more! You can achieve way more power with a track by removing things instead of adding them. Also keep in mind that every single instrument needs its own space, dont let instruments compete about certain EQ ranges. Airwave is an expert with this, making all instruments so airy and well put together no matter how many instruments he uses.

And about that Airbase Trance Refill, it really stinks, I've used it a couple of times for short fast stabs, but thats all. That refill wasnt really made to do any good, I was mostly trying out if I _could_ do one.

And once again, NO, i did not stop produce music, I just left trance on the shelves for a while trying out new things. However, alot of big things are happening right now concerning future releases that was made before my decision, so who knows how the future looks. One should never say anything for certain!
