So a friend of mine is doing some dance production and the stage is about 18' by 30', and he needs something of that sort that can broadcast at least an 18' radius, and the radio adapter thingy he has only goes about 10-12' without losing a lot of quality
(btw if it wasn't clear, i'm talking about the things you plug into any form of audio out, computer discman ipod etc, and it sends out a radio frequency (usually 88.1-88.9)
one idea he had was plug a splitter into the ipod and set up two transmitters broadcasting the same frequency etc, but if my understanding of radio is correct, it'd be louder but wouldn't reach any farther
he needs some ideas by this evening if possible, anyone got any ideas or know any of these things that can broadcast further (and aren't too expensive)? |

why are you doing this? |
i'm really not sure, but i believe they needed a way to have the dancers be able to hear the music for the piece at times w/o the audience hearing it, so probably just the dancers would be wearing little radios w/o earbuds
not really positive though |
