i know this is really bad example but it is a fact ASOT will fall when it will cost money per listening.

1. ASOT will get syndicated in 10+ countries on local radio stations respectively for everyone to listen for FREE.
2. DI.FM only charges for their premium streams, 96kb and lower are FREE.
3. Armin has always made the show for FREE.
ID&T Radio now Slam!FM is a legal Dutch radio station and they most certainly pay and have always paid their royalties.
And so does DI.FM in U.S.
A lot of people were unhappy with the very fact that royalties weren't being paid by you know who, although I reccon that will change in the future.
To sum this up, Armin won't get any money from ASOT show itself, artists will get their royalties, and you'll still be able to listen to ASOT for FREE. |
