I went over for a day to see the celtic game. I never really got to see much.

From what I did see it was definately one of the best city's I've been in, the cathedral is nice altho they were working on it at the time I was there. I'd recommend you to take a lot of money cos it can be very expensive and some of the clothes shopping is second to none.

If your into football you have to visit the san siro, It really is someting else, especially when full.

San Siro, San Siro Museum!
Duomo (Have to go to it)
Scala (Opera famous)
Montenapoleone (shopping)
S. Maria delle Grazie (Last Supper, Religous trip very good)

Its not a very touristy city, great for fashion but bring your money, I go about 5 times a year and spend about 400 quid each time (non-transport) Have fun!!!

Miss? Just dont stay in a hostel, 3* hotels are crap so you need to get a nice hotel because if its below a 4* you most likely are in trouble.

milan i think is boring if you're a backpacker and are looking for "sightseeing" - i got that impression 4 years ago when I was there

however, it has a good vibe if you like the "european" lifestyle and if you're with someone, it will be good. just go out there to have a good time and look at the shops

plenty of very beautiful women too, but i guess you wont be looking :haha:
