| The only part of the song where you can appreciate the beauty of Steve's filtering is between 2:30 and 3:10. close your eyes and see if it you feel it |

| I do think it is very much more than just a nice melody....It is.....A message from God himself. |

| yes, this track simply is fantastic, ignore the other mixes, the en-motion mix is the way to go.....i never get tired of listening to this track, the hook, the pads and the synths are stunning....its also has a great amount of energy |

That's funny. I always felt that part ruined the track. It just sounds terribly goofy and hokey (aka the Ayla sound, which is a track that sounds equally silly and stupid). When I listen to Synaesthesia, I always get the image of hundreds of schoolchildren in a field rolling their arms to the snare rolls and then doing star jumps at the crescendo. Yeah. That's as retarded looking as it sounds.
Synaesthesia is MOR trance: nothing new, nothing special, nothing interesting or exciting going on. No boundaries broken, no experimental sounds explored, no real impact or unique emotional quality. No soul, no inventiveness, no catchy hook or groove. Just run-of-the-mill, picture perfect template trance with a doting little 16th note melody. Drab, aimless, and adequate. It's like the producer didn't care and just dialed in a C-average performance with ye olde trance presets at the mixing desk. After 1000 tracks of the same-sounding stuff, Synaesthesia comes out as the answer to all your trance woes. This is like solving someone's appetite for tasty food by giving them a rice cake.
I was at an outdoor party once, and the DJ dropped Synaesthesia. Everyone started hopping up and down. It really did look incredibly ing stupid.
I guess that's why it's so popular. |

well thats hype for ya
I liked the track, but it was never on repeat for me.
But when everyone talks about how great it is, more and more people get the idea that they have to like it, and then they beleive its an awesome track....kinda like ATRC...anopther track i thought was alright, but nothing amazing
i dont hate these tracks, but i dont go crazy when I hear them, but everyone else does
granted, there are peopel who loved it from the start, but i think theres a lot of other people that buy into the hype |
